New Hybrid Lecture Series:
Practice Matters
with Doug Jones, RCST, CMT, APP
“Doug’s grounded, creative way of teaching sparked a curiosity in me. I went on to mentor with him for eight years. Those years of mentorship shaped not only my technical skills, but also the depth of presence and listening I bring to my sessions.
Doug embodied the principles of the work in a way that was steady, thoughtful, and profoundly respectful of the body’s innate intelligence.
Working with Doug gave me the foundation from which my entire practice has grown. His guidance continues to influence my work to this day, and I remain deeply grateful for his mentorship.”

about the Instructor:
Doug Jones began his training in the healing arts with the practice of Ki Aikido in Tokyo, Japan - where he was instructed by his mentor, Tohei Sensei to study healing in order to progress his Aikido practice.
He followed his advice and began studying energy healing, massage, Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, Corrective Tissue Biodynamics, Polarity Therapy and many modalities of somatic psychotherapy, including Core Process Psychotherapy, Hakomi Therapy, Somatic Experiencing and Pre- and Perinatal Therapy with Ray Castellino.
Doug has spent 35 years in private practice and taught at the Boulder College of Massage Therapy for over 10 years. Additionally, he has mentored many students privately supporting them to successful private practice. He is now wanting to share his knowledge and skills with a larger audience - in the hopes of inspiring new practitioners and supporting their clients.
